The civil ceremony with up to 50 guests takes place in the Lounge overlooking the Harbour. An interesting setting for your wedding photographs would be on the Ha’penny Pier with the Stour and Orwell estuaries in the background.

After the ceremony the Harbourside Restaurant can be used for either a finger buffet or sit down meal; we can cater for any number from 2 to 100! In the evening you and your guests could return to the lounge for an informal supper. Another unique idea is to hire an Essex barge or fishing smack for the day and have your wedding breakfast afloat – we can arrange everything, the picnic, champagne – the choice is yours.
